Excellent story - on so many levels
The story grabbed me right from the beginning and kept tugging! Excellent weaving of past and present . The author covered so many topics that affect women and how women survive

Fascinating!
I loved listening to the performances of the Appalachian dialects. The speech patterns were so descriptive and point to language as a living and evolving entity. The universal tales of love and family came to life in a unique and unfamiliar setting. A very good story!

The Ending
I am expecting another book to follow this one…. This one left my thoughts hanging and more about the relationships will be a nice conclusion..
