About this listen
The Straight Talk...may just be the wake up call of your life!
If you're in (or have been affected by) a controlling, suffocating, and deeply damaging relationship that brings you more pain and anxiety than pleasure, support, and joy, there's a good chance that you are in an abusive relationship.
Among the most trauma-inducing aspects of such a relationship are the numerous and far-reaching ways it messes with:
- Your head, your self-concept, feelings of being lovable and worthy of love, your self-esteem, confidence, and self-respect.
- Your ability to feel safety around trusting your own judgment, your energy, and your passion for life. There are complex reasons for this, and it's vital that you're able to "step outside" of the hellish confusion that dominates your mind in order to truly see what's going on.
- Your understand of why it's happening. Recognize the patterns and acquire the knowledge that will help you to turn everything around, free yourself from all of it for good, and go on to create a life that fills you with inspiration.

Straight Talk
Straight Talk is a breath of fresh air and self accountability. It dives deep into domestic abuse and opens the avenue of self healing to all, abusers included. Trish navigates and describes the stereotypes that the girl child has been raised in. Together, we can break the stereotypes that nurture male machoism. At the root of it all is abuse and trauma.
It is time for each and every person to take responsibility for their own healing, put in the work required and experience liberation that is a pleasant side effect. Every human deserves peace,
I love the articulation. I would recommend this book to everyone who is interested in self and society healing. I choose the rating of 5 in all areas as it touches on the key aspects of healing.
