Excellent thriller, kept me guessing
This is a very chilling story and as you see events unfold, you can relate to all of the characters and also really despise some of their decisions. This story highlights the stranger within all of us, and the secrets and lies that we keep to protect the ones we love. Also how these "small lies" can grow into life shattering events. The twists and turns are really entertaining and I recommend this riveting read to anyone who enjoys a good thriller.

Uncomfortable, but...
I did not enjoy this book. But it had me riveted. It’s just so damned uncomfortable. But it’s meant to be. It does a great job of it. And...I was always guessing. And cringing. And listening.

Confused
The author doesn't come right out and say that the main protagonist is mentally ill but that seems to be the only reason I can see for the completely stupid decisions made throughout the story.

A Whirlwind of Emotion
I found I really emphasized with the protagonist and felt conflicted as we discovered more of the book and the other aspects that contributed to making her life more challenging.
At first we feel like we know the situation and understand what's going on. Callie is easy to connect with until the "stranger" begins to show and then eventually the author finally let's us in on what was happening.
it was difficult to write this without giving anything away but I enjoyed the book by the end once the OH! moments made sense.
