A self-help book that has stood the test of time
I enjoy walking and listening to books at the same time. Thanks, #Audible1. And sometimes, I listen to self-help books. There are probably a lot of us out there who like to listen or read t self-help books, but there is sometimes a stigma around that. Here's the thing about this book. It was written a while ago, but the lessons contained in the book have stood the test of time. It's a very long listen, almost 22 hours, so in order to really absorb the content, I made it a year-long project. I listened to one chapter at a time, and sometimes I bounced around to listen to a chapter that I needed to listen to that specific week. This was easy to do since I also have this book in paperback. So I suggest you download the audio, purchase yourself a simple notebook from the dollar store, and spend some time every week listening to one chapter. Not everything will resonate with you, nor did it for me (business stuff for example), but there are a lot of practical lessons to be learned.
