Great but bad editing
One of my favourite books by the author, the suspense was fantastic, and the narrator was good, but the editing for it is so bad and takes away from the overall impact

Another great book by Freida!
Loved the story! Narrator is not my favourite but I’ve listened to a few books of Freida’s where she has done the narration and I’m used to her voice now.

Do not listen to this if you want to enjoy it
I don't know what it is about her books, they draw me in even though they are so cheesy and predictable. Everything that happened, I knew it! lmao. But, I am probably still going to read them because they suck me in and keep me reading/listening. Once again, the narrator choice sucked. I am really surprised that this made it through and costs almost $40 to listen to this on audible... because she sounded like she was in an empty bathroom with her family outside the door. There were times when I heard the faint noise of dogs barking. So yeah, I am definitely unimpressed. I'd opt for the actual book on this one! There were times where I was laughing at how stupid some of this book was. Laughing at dialogue and thoughts... All I could think half the time Abby was thinking out loud was "Duhhhh". It was a good read though

I wanted to love it
I could not wait to finish this book to just put it behind me. Although there was a bit of a twist, the book was so predictable and a storyline we’ve heard many times over. I really wanted to love this book because I like everything she writes but I’m glad it’s done and I can move on.

Alison Crawchuk is a TERRRRRIBLE NARRATOR
I’m sorry, but this story was totally ruined by the narrator. That was the absolute worst audiobook narration I have ever heard. She was practically whispering almost the whole book so I had to blast the volume to be able to understand what she was saying. It sounded like she was either doing this recording in her apartment and didn’t want any neighbours to hear or she was talking like she was whispering secrets in somebody’s ear. It was the strangest strangest narration and I’m so disappointed to see that my favourite author Freida McFadden has used the same narrator for a few of her books ugh! Please Audible, do not have this narrator doing any more books. She really truly ruins them. I’m sure she’s a perfectly nice person, but she’s not meant to be a narrator. Her voice is just very strange, she’s insanely soft-spoken, but not a talented actress type who can act out different parts and make the book come alive. This is not one of her skills I’m sorry to say. Pleeeease.
5/5 stars for the story because all of Freida McFadden’s stories are excellent IMO, 1/5 stars for the performance and therefore 3/5 overall sadly.
