I enjoyed the idea of the story

I enjoyed the idea of the story told well by the narrator, Ray Porter. However, David Poyer's novel is frustrating in his singular belief about his wife, and the story ends without resolve. I enjoyed the action parts of the story, but am not sure what the overall point of the novel was.
