About this listen
"A thrilling, pulse-pounding addition to the genre with compelling science and a frightening twist." (Nicholas Sansbury Smith, NY Times and USA Today best-selling author of the Extinction Cycle and Hell Divers series)
This audiobook contains the first four audiobooks of the Tide series, filled with post-apocalyptic action, suspense, and intrigue.
A devastating bioweapon will change the face and fate of humanity as we know it.
Captain Dominic Holland leads a crew of skilled covert operatives and scientific personnel aboard a clandestine ship dedicated to fighting chemical and biological warfare. Their missions have taken them across the world to combat sinister plots and dangerous adversaries. But their next assignment is more dangerous than any they faced before.
Far off the Eastern Coast of the US, intelligence officers discover a covert laboratory on an abandoned oil rig with unspeakable horrors. Twisted creatures wash ashore across the country. Hospitals are overrun by patients suffering from an incurable disease with terrifying symptoms.
Dom and his team may be the only ones equipped to find out why. They embark on a globe-trotting race to unravel the apocalyptic mystery behind the bioweapon destroying civilization.
But will their efforts be enough to turn the tide - or is humanity’s fate already sealed?

Great new series
If you're a fan of post-apocalyptic thrillers and looking for a new series to immerse yourself in, do yourself a favour and check out the reviews on audible.com - I'm really glad I did!
I read the review by one of my favourite authors, Nicholas Sansbury Smith, who wrote the Extinction Cycle and Hell Divers series. He had me at "A thrilling..."
There are many other positive reviews by fans of the genre. I'm so happy I took the time to check them out! I just finished listening to this 37-hour series in less than a week in my spare time, and I'm excited to get to the next book. This bundle of four books is a terrific deal - wish I could also get the next four in a bundle for one credit, but I'll happily spend 1 for 1 new story to dive back into this great series!

Left for dead two ripoff
The first book was really good. Great setup for a series. Then the ripoff of left for dead started. If it wasn’t for the narrator, I would have stopped listening. Got a Boxset of 4 books, listened to them all. They got cheesier as they went on.

A Series Worth Reading
If Clive Cussler’s Oregon Files and Jonathan Maberry’s Joe Ledger series got together, The Tide series would be the result. It’s a good story, nothing super complex or in-depth but a good story none the less.
Honestly, my biggest issue is the narrator’s laugh, it’s creepy and robotic. Luckily he’s not laughing a whole lot lol.

Different angle
A slight twist on the zombie world. These dead living are more to be concerned about than your average zombie. The first 4 books are intriguing enough to continue with the series. With the understanding this is a fantasy series still a little disappointing that parts of the book have some incorrect facts . Wont mention the details but could have done a little more research in physics.
Overall for end of the world readers I’d say give it a try.

cant recommend this series
The story is so trite and formula based. Main character DOM goes against hs own guidelines constantly. Puttingthemselves and others at risk at all times causing the most important people around him ending up dead, he then mourns their loss for minutes and then on to the next dumb idea.
I wanted to enjoy this book but I could not, it played out like a very bad mellow drama. I actually had to stop after the second book in the series.

So-so.
This is an okay series. Nothing special about the writing, plot, characters or narration. Pretty much the same old, same old. After plodding through first four books I will not continue since I don't care what happens. Sigh.

Not great
I have listen to and read a lot of postapocalypse tape books and this is The least well written one I have come across… I don’t know of any of this authors other work but if these four books in this series are any indication he’s not a very good author.
