High pic in traduction

Thrilling

This book was fantastic. The pacing was amazing, the character development was wonderful, the twists were excellent. This is my favourite book in the series so far. One reason I believe this was such an improvement on the previous books is that the character of Ciri really shone. I grew attached to her and was worried about her at different points in the book. This, too me, is the sign of a great writer.

This novel was so exciting to listen to, and I’m really looking forward to starting the next book.

I can think of only one criticism of this book. There is a chapter where woman after woman throw themselves at Geralt, it was very over the top and not that funny. However, the rest of the book was so excellent that this chapter didn’t diminish my overall rating of the book.

As usual Peter Kenny was fantastic.

incredible.

excellent sequel to the gripping first novel in the series. the narrator deserves awards and if I had one wish, it would be for the very same man to do the entire wheel of time series as the current one available is incredibly dry and boring. I love the series but cringed even at the sample strip from any of the Audio books.

the era of the sword and axe is nigh....

#Audible1 If you haven't heard of the Witcher Saga then you are missing out. This series follows the main character Geralt of Rivia, a Witcher, in his travels across the Continent in search of employment in his trade; that of hunting and slaying dangerous monsters that prey upon humans. This polish masterpiece was written by Andrzej Sapkowski and is the inspiration behind the three internationally acclaimed Witcher Games and the impending Netflix series. The books are heavily steeped in Slavic lore and are offer a startling insight into the human condition making us ask who the true monsters are and who are the ones who need saving. The world doesn't need a hero. It needs a professional. WORTH THE LISTEN/READ

Builds up.

So in my opinion this is definitely better than Blood of Elves. it's kind of more so like a rollercoaster worldwide like it's low Peaks and then high peaks. I definitely loved the continuous world-building the situations are the characters got in and the ever considering plot and the different strategies that are going on that we are also witnessing along with Geralt. The narrator does a great job and keeps the audiobook very entertaining and doesn't make it seem as if its just droning on.

Thoroughly engaging… Well done!

I continue to be surprised by this series; it came out of nowhere and I am enjoying it immensely. Again, I must congratulate the narrator (Peter Kenny) he is excellent. Highly recommended.
