Publisher's Summary

The fifth and final installment of the number one New York Times best-selling Trials of Apollo series has Lester and Meg returning to where it all began: Camp Half-Blood.

At last, the breathtaking, action-packed finale of the number one best-selling Trials of Apollo series is here! Will the Greek god Apollo, cast down to earth in the pathetic moral form of a teenager named Lester Papadopoulos, finally regain his place on Mount Olympus?

Lester's demigod friends at Camp Jupiter just helped him survive attacks from bloodthirsty ghouls, an evil Roman king and his army of the undead, and the lethal emperors Caligula and Commodus. Now the former god and his demigod master Meg must follow a prophecy uncovered by Ella the harpy. Lester's final challenge will be at the Tower of Nero, back in New York.

Will Meg have a last showdown with her father? Will this helpless form of Apollo have to face his arch nemesis, Python? Who will be on hand at Camp Half-Blood to assist? These questions and more will be answered in this book that all demigods are eagerly awaiting.

I loved this 5th audio book!

The 5th book is amazing, but it was too short still I loved from the beginning to the end.

An amazing end

This was a great story to cap the series and give us a hint of other future stories.

The whole thing

I loved this book and this series but the parts that stood out to me and made me smile were when Apollo revoked the divinity of Nero. I love the ending also

This book makes me cry

I've been following thos series for 4 years now, starting from the lightning theif and this book makes me so happy and sad. it's the end of one of my favorit things and I know the end of the book isn't supposed to mean anything but it makes me tear up every time. thank you to robbie daymond for truly bringing this book to life.

Not my favorite book in the series

Seemed to be a lot of fighting in this story, even more violence than usual. The villains, Nero and Python are disturbing to listen to. Unlike other books in this series, and other Riordan books, the dark elements were not as well balanced by new and growing relationships. I found myself laughing less.
