Publisher's Summary

Ayn Rand here sets forth the moral principles of Objectivism, the philosophy that holds human life - the life proper to a rational being - as the standard of moral values and regards altruism as incompatible with human nature, with the creative requirement of survival, and with a free society.

Ms. Rand's unique philosophy, Objectivism, has gained a worldwide audience. The fundamentals of her philosophy are set forth in this insightful piece of nonfiction.

Must read!

Ayn Rand’s works, in my opinion, have one of three effects on people. The good-faith reader finds Objectivism either to be life-affirming and vindicating, or profoundly life altering in terms of how he or she sees the world. Others, view her work as a personal attack on their character or an affront to their firmly held beliefs, this latter category of readers commonly constituent of the religious types and / or the Dunning-Kruger crowd.

Personally, I find her works to be the greatest philosophy has on offer, with Aristotle and Bastiat second and third respectively.

Stunning relevance

A treasure trove of timeless ideas to remind the modern rational mind of what's at stake in the current Era. The narrator delivers the text exquisitely.
