About this listen
A man's body is found on the Cape in a small fishing community on the East Coast. At first, everyone thinks it's a heart attack or stroke. But then it is discovered that he was poisoned. Who would do this and why?
Finding that out falls to Sergeant Winston Windflower of the RCMP along with his trusted sidekick, Eddie Tizzard. Along the way, they discover that there are many more secrets hidden in this small community and powerful people who want to keep it that way.
Windflower also discovers two more things: a love of living in a small community that is completely different from his upbringing in a remote Indian reserve and maybe the love of his life. He gets a taste of East Coast food and hospitality as well as a sense of how crime and corruption can linger beneath the surface or hide in the thick blanket of fog that sometimes creeps in from the nearby Atlantic Ocean.

Walker on the Cape - A Great Listening Escape
Having already read the book (and others in the series) before, I was hoping the audio would do the story justice and I was not disappointed. The narrator did a great job telling the story as intended, just as hungry listening to the book as when I was reading it myself! Continued success and looking forward to listening to the rest of the series.

A great yarn
I thoroughly enjoyed “Walker on the Cape”
The narration was perfect - enough of an accent to transport the listener to the seaside without overwhelming the story. I eagerly await the next story. Thank you for a great weekend listen!

Very simplistic, well read, no “mystery” content
Very simple writing and story of a Newfoundland RCMP crime story. Not in the least believable or interesting. I Passed the time to maintain interest while it played back by counting the number of cups of coffee and snacks that the hero consumed during the playback.
The reader is ok, the material is very mundane.
