Another great mystery that feels like an original Sherlock Holmes while also starring a strong female character, such a great surprise that the second is just as strong as the first book was. You can feel the love of Sherlock Holmes the author must have.

I thoroughly enjoyed this world in which Holmes and Watson aren’t simply characters in a book, but real people who are by now notorious and called in for high level criminal investigations. Lucy’s inclusion in the series broadens its appeal to a wider audience as she’s engaging, intelligent and quick-witted. This one was action packed and exciting!
