The manga is better...

I enjoy this manga, but the light novel is far ahead of the manga. So why not read ahead?

Although both the light novel and the manga cover the same events, somehow it works better in visual form. The audiobook ended up feeling saccharine and juvenile where the manga seemed dramatic and exciting. It's also a little jarring having a male voice actor calling out 'onii-chan' so often.

All in all, it wasn't a bad listen, just... not as good as the manga. So I guess I'll go back to reading it instead.
