Literary and practical

This book is beautifully written. It is dense, but easy to get into and enjoy. Both an example and a guide to aspiring writers. The performance fits the material.

A wonderful freebie

I was glad this was offered free from Audible. The writing is memorable of course. I didn't like the narrator so much. She reads well but the tone was overdone and pretentious. a softer approach would've made the writing shine more.

Narrator feels rushed

I could not get into the story because the narrator rushes from sentence to sentence. It’s not that I don’t understand her, she speaks very clearly, but I don’t have time to think about each sentence, and this is the kind of book that is best read calmly.
