About this listen
How did Fox Mulder become a believer? How did Dana Scully become a skeptic? The X-Files Origins has the answers.
The X-Files Origins: Agent of Chaos explores the teen years of Fox Mulder, the beloved character depicted in the cult-favorite TV show The X-Files. His story is set in the spring of 1979, when serial murder, the occult, and government conspiracy were highlighted in the news. The audiobook follows Mulder as he experiences life-changing events that set him on the path to becoming an FBI agent.

Excellent listen!
My only complaint is that I doubt it is canon (official). THAT would be cool! Love the idea of Mulder as a young man and his friends!

pretty good
Better than Scully’s YA origin story, at least? The author did a more credible job writing Mulder- his actions and motivations were more in keeping with the Mulder we already know. It wasn’t perfect by any stretch, but it was alright. The real star, for me, was Mr. X, who was treated sympathetically, while still showing him as a ruthless agent. The mystery made sense. Of course Mulder is going to insert himself into the search for a missing 8 year old girl. That’s the other thing, it was interesting to see how the Samantha storyline was handled.
I kind of liked it.
