About this listen
Auggie is starting his first year at Wroxall College. It’s a punishment, and he’s determined to make his way through the year, prove himself, and earn the right to go back home.
Theo is a grad student recovering from a terrible car accident. He’s lost his husband and their daughter, and he’s trying to figure out how to keep going.
When both are tangled up in a murder, though, they have to set their personal problems aside and work together — first to clear their names, and then, when the killer turns his attention on them, to survive.
But what might really kill them is finishing a seminar together on King Lear.

TTMIWE Review
This was my first encounter with Harding, but I have to say it was absolutely amazing. He really gives life to the characters and draws you into Greg's mystery!
This story is set in the same world as the Hazard and Sumerset book series. However it's set in the past, around the same that Somers was just starting on the force.
The story focuses on two characters. Auggie a freshmen at Wroxall college who is just trying to find himself in this crazy world.
The second character is Theo, a professor at the college who has lost himself after being involved in a terrible situation.
The two find each other when a murder takes place and they realize they have to work together, put aside their issues, fight off these new budding feelings, all the while trying to be a student and professor and pretend everything is normal!
This book is a wild ride and one that everyone should read. Gregory once again pulls us in with his amazing writing and keeps on our toes with the new mystery that's brewing.
If you are a fan of Greg's writing, I highly recommend picking this book up/ audio!
