About this listen

This rib-tickling new novel was inspired by the old Norse poem The Thrymskvitha which tells what happens when Thor's hammer is stolen and he has to dress as a bride to retrieve it. Told by Thialfi the goatboy, and featuring Norse gods, foolish giants, and a pair of cranky goats, this one will have the whole family laughing out loud.©2005 Bruce Coville (P)2006 Full Cast Audio Fairy Tales, Folk Tales & Myths Fantasy & Magic Fiction Growing Up Growing Up & Facts of Life Humorous Fiction Fantasy Comedy Norse Funny

Incredible

My family used to listen to this book in the car. I love the basis in the mythos and the creative additions. it is truly so fun and heartwarming. Also, the voices seem to fit perfectly. I recommend this book to all, and I hope Bruce Coville considers writing sequels.
