About this listen

Screenwriting - three act structure - plot and structure: The three-act structure model has stood the test of time, spanning back to the days of Aristotle. As in Syd Field's seminal work Screenwriting where he discusses screenplay structure, Three-Act Structure: Classified is an example of how to write a great screenplay using this basic structure.

In writing a novel or screenplay, does writing Act II scare the heck out of you? Easily outline your novel or screenplay with this concise and insightful book.

Are you confused as to how the three-act structure works? Want to make your novels or screenplays pop and create more compelling narratives? Consider it a screenwriting or novel worksheet for your mind. Three-Act Structure: Classified delivers!

Those who win screenwriting contests have a firm grasp on screenplay structure. You can easily do the same. The three-act structure in screenwriting is the science behind some of the most complex and rewarding screenplays-turned-films ever made. City of God, Pulp Fiction....

In the spirit of Save the Cat written by the great Blake Snyder, the process of structuring a story is simplified.

Camara simplifies the process of screenwriting by breaking down the three-act structure into the understandable. If you liked 40 Compelling Short Film Ideas, you'll enjoy how Camara simplifies the complex into an entertaining and enlightening study on the craft of screenwriting. This book helps you to develop your structure before you write your screenplay, enabling the screenplay to virtually "write itself".

The three-act model in this book can be applied to novels, short stories, short films and television writing. It goes in-depth about plot points as well, something all forms of writing uses.

Please enjoy, share, and review the book.

A guided meditation for the struggling screenwriter

The best lessons we learn in a classroom are the ones that stick with us. Unfortunately it’s difficult for some of us to juggle the structural elements of screenwriting amongst the stories that dance in our heads.

This is a nice 30 minute structure refresher to help before diving into any new piece of work.

I would rate this higher but there are pieces that feel like they are missing due to the narrator being cut off at pivotal moments.

Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.
