So, I've checked off some life goals and added a few new ones to my list:

  • Get out of hell's belly without letting my ungrateful charges die.
  • Get a new name that's more badass.
  • Stop wasting my breath on lectures and start annoying the quad hell squad every time they annoy me. Fight fire with fire. Ha! Another hell pun.
  • Find out who the hell killed me.

I'll add more. I don't want to overwhelm myself before I even finish checking off my old goals. But seriously, I really do need a more badass name, considering how much I have to keep saving my damsels in distress.

I probably shouldn't call them damsels, since they're a little murderous and all.

Maybe I should add seeing a hell-certified psychologist to my list of goals.

Ended on another cliffhanger.
I was so happy that the 5 of them finally come together, I really enjoyed this last book you finally find out lots of information.

The main character is so snarky, it’s great to see the world from the point of view of a female character who is not all helpless and waits for strong men to save her. The world building is more in-depth than the first book, and we FINALLY got a spicy group scene! My one complaint is the writing style, would be better if there was more use of “show, don’t tell”.

I think reading this book would be a mistake. The narrator does such a good job and the presentation makes for a much better experience listened to. I am really enjoying this series and already have the 3rd book ready to go.

Meant to be listened to

Good developing storyline. Book 2 gives a lot of answers to many questions they've had. Not sure if that'd be considered a spoiler, but it's something to look forward to.

Narrator is still good and consistent.
