I was hesitant about buying this book. I had read three of Nicholas Spark’s novels and wondered what his autobiography would be like. I’m so glad I decided to get this book. I feel closer to the author now and have a much better understanding of his novels as a lot of his life experience goes into them, including the naming of the characters in his books. I also learned a great deal about all the places they traveled to in his wonderful storytelling style. I highly recommend this book and I think all authors should write their autobiographies for their readers.

I absolutely love Nicholas Sparks’ writing and have loved everyone of his fictional books. I had them all except this one because it was a memoir I didn’t think I would be interested but I figure listening to it would be more interesting and it was! I never knew he had such a difficult life and I enjoyed learning about where he travelled. He is an amazing writer whether fiction or non fiction and if he were to write another one I’d listen right away!
