 At the outset of the Vietnam War, the Army created an experimental fighting unit that became known as "Tiger Force." The Tigers were to be made up of the cream of the crop-the very best and bravest soldiers the American military could offer. They would be given a long leash, allowed to operate in the field with less supervision. I will start by commending the narrator for his excellent performance, this solidified my 5-star review. Having heard countless rumors and story's about the 'Tiger Force', I decided to investigate their history myself. The novel delivered interesting, fantastic, graphic, and often colorful accounts of the atrocities committed during the Vietnam war... and the actions of the infamous 'Sam Ybarra'. Overall it was an enjoyable read, and an absolutely fantastic narration.
