About this listen
The twelve-year rampage of "Missoula Mauler" Wayne Nance - and the shocking end to his murder spree
To his neighbors, Wayne Nance, a furniture mover from Missoula, Montana, appeared to be an affable, considerate, and trustworthy guy. No one knew that Nance was the "Missoula Mauler," a psychopath responsible for a series of sadistic sex slayings that rocked the idyllic town between 1974 and 1986.
Nance's only requirement for murder was accessibility - a preacher's wife, a teenage runaway, a female acquaintance, a married couple. Putting on a friendly façade, he could easily gain his victims' trust. Then, one September night, thirty-year-old Nance pushed his luck, preying on a couple who lived to tell the tale.
A true story with an incredible twist, written by former Wall Street Journal editor John Coston and complete with photos, To Kill and Kill Again reveals the disturbing compulsions of a charming serial killer who fooled everyone he knew, stumped the authorities, terrified a community, and nearly got away with it.

Excellent
Full of detail on what they found at crime scenes, etc. Very nice narration without any irritating voice-acting. Just concise, accurate, step by step events as they unfolded.

Amazing! Well written for such a horrific tragedy.
Well narrated, and the entire book was riveting! I'm so thankful that this monster was stopped. Much love to Doug and Chris.

Flabby but satisfying true crime
Could’ve been shorter and more effective as it goes on a lot of unnecessary tangents. Otherwise as a massive true crime fan it’s a great story and narrator is legit 👌🏼

Incorrect statements about Satanic Bible
Statement about book encouraging branding/scarring is grossly incorrect. It never encourages such a thing.

A really interesting listen!
I chose to listen to this particular book on audio, and ended up completely addicted to listening to this incredibly wild story unfold. Based on a serial killer I'd never heard of, and horrified by how long he got away with his crimes, when he was ALWAYS on the peripheral of investigation was completely fascinating.
A must for true crime lovers, no question.

As good as any, if you like these stories.
It’s an easy listen… at first it seems like a lot of history of each character, but then he stays with each throughout the story and ties it all together…
“Glad he’s dead.”*

Not as expected
The story is told more from each victims perspective, which goes in so much detail that it is confusing when considering the crime scenes had no survivors or witnesses. I don't consider this to be in the True Crime genre. Other than that, it is a satisfying listen.

Wonderfully done!
Wayne Nance wasn’t a serial killer I was aware of, and while I had googled him to find out more before the book was over, I still thoroughly enjoyed this book and the narration. Enthralling and overlooked, Wayne Namce was truly a monster that walked amongst us.

Intense!!
I found the narration of this story to be quite good! This is a very long book and it has so many characters. This true account of this unconvicted serial killer was very interesting.
