About this listen
What do you do when you meet the man of your dreams, but you're already engaged? You become best friends and hope for the best.
BAZ
It was a meet-cute that should have come with a happy ending. I was hardly at my best when I caught Andy snapping photos of me topless in the name of street photography. I fired angry words at him. In exchange, he gave me his jacket to keep me warm. Thus began our friendship and an unrequited crush on a man who was about to get married.
ANDY
After a photography assignment in the Middle East left me scarred, I have no choice but to face the many issues in my life—my marriage is over, my wife has moved on, and I may never hold another camera between my hands. But there's no hurdle I can't get over once I have my best friend, Baz, in my life. When he tries to transition from a stylist to a journalist at the magazine where he works, he enlists my help in writing a column. How can I prove to him that moving from best friends to lovers makes sense when he's determined to prove the opposite?
Contains mature themes.

This is book 2 but is a standalone. I really loved alot of it but I enjoyed book one more. This was a quick read that was fast paced. I like that it got to what mattered and didn't drag.
It was sweet, low angst, steamy with dirty talk, some slight drama and whole lot of heartwarming moments. The 2 main characters were perfect for each other and were so swoony sweet together. They had off the charts chemistry and not just in the bedroom. Both characters were loveable and both had past hurt that pulled them together and they helped heal each other. I loved Baz he was that balance of being insecure at times but also would strut his plus size body off and dress femme and was so spunky and confident most of the time. I loved him the most.
For me there were a few things that I ruined the enjoyment of this sweet story. The ex still being in the picture, the crazy family members and then the epilogue! I know it was to bring drama into an otherwise cute story but I think those scenes could have been written in a more favorable manner. Even still I absolutely can't wait for the next book.
