not like the books , from when I was younger

struggled to finish.
story quality and content not as good as it was in the 1960's
is it different writers now .... fire them
I owned about 15 books when I was young and read every Tom Swift book available from the library
these books were hard cover at least 1" thick

I wanted to relive some of my youth by reading a Tom Swift book to remember.
This is not the book of that time
