About this listen
Touch is an electrifying thriller by the author of The First Fifteen Lives of Harry August and 84K.
He tried to take my life. Instead, I took his.
It was a long time ago. I remember it was dark, and I didn't see my killer until it was too late. As I died, my hand touched his. That's when the first switch took place.
Suddenly, I was looking through the eyes of my killer, and I was watching myself die. Now switching is easy. I can jump from body to body, have any life, be anyone.
Some people touch lives. Others take them. I do both.

Very promising writer. Excited for development.
The premise was interesting but the plot often got lost behind the dialogue. I wanted to be more interested. it will probably be a much better second read. would still reccomend though.

Speechless!
Touch, is second novel from this Claire North I delved into. I am “blown away” as the last sentence finishes. She has a unique talent of exploring one’s personhood through unconventional means. I seek out authors that don’t rely on the plot to move the story forward, but will immerse the reader in wrapping oneself within the few characters, in an intimacy with one to advance the plot. This author has a knack for it, and I find myself wishing the story never ends. I highly recommend in checking out her novels to make your own judgement. But I have a high suspicion you might get just as immersed as I. Looking forward for more from her.
As well, Peter Kenny, the narrator, I enjoyed his tone, range in different voices, cadence, and the emotional presentation throughout the plot scenarios.
This is a must read/ listen!

Meh
After listening to 32 chapters, I gave up.
The main plot driving the story felt quite weak to me. There was nothing that moved my curiousity about what was going to happen next. Our main character felt particularly boring and one dimensional, despite hopping from body to body. It was, at least the 32 chapters I listened to, very meh.
