Fascinating Overview of Transgender History in US

While very US centric, still a valuable resource for those curious about the history of transgender people on this continent. Notably present intersectionalist and socialist frameworks run throughout the piece but only contribute to its strength as a work.

A good intro to the topic

It's a solid 101 in trans history for the US, but I was hoping for something a bit more comprehensive. So allies, friends/family of Trans as well as newly transitioning people may still find this book very useful, but it is likely anyone in the west who has been involved in the LGBT2Q community for any amount of time, will already be familiar with most of what is discussed here.
