Good book
The narrator was hard to listen to a lot of the time but enjoyed the story enough and development of characters to stick with it. Nicely written, a story of reconciliation, family roots and love. Overall great.

Great story- odd narration.
I’ve been listening to a lot of Kristen Hannah lately and decided to go for this title based on previous experiences. I gave the performance 1 star. The narrator m used a baby voice for every woman in the story; it made my skin crawl. I think I would have enjoyed this more if I’d have read instead of listened.

True Color, disappointed.

Can’t stand the narrator’s voice!
Unable to finish the book due to her voice. Hard to get pass the childlike voice. Just awful. I will avoid reading books with this narrator in the future!
