Kelly Jacobs has already paid the ultimate price of loving a warrior; she has the folded flag and the grateful thanks of a nation to prove it. Navy SEAL Joe “Bear” Baker can't ask her to accept that risk again—even though he loves her. But the man responsible for her husband's death is back; closer than either of them realize. Kelly is in danger, and Joe may not get there in time.

I enjoyed this story. The action began right in the beginning. The author developed the characters to be invested, thought provoking and vulnerable. They had deep faith and trust in God.

I enjoyed the friendships between the main characters that developed into real love. As any good romance the characters did not have a smooth path to happily ever after but large bumps in the road.

This story is sweet, suspenseful and intriguing. I recommend this book.

Awesome narration but could be improved upon. Sometimes the conversations are a little rushed and the dialogue for the male characters has a fake tone, making it sound forced when the narrator's regular voice would probably fit better. I realize it's to make it obvious when he's speaking for a character but it's a little too much.

Very sweet story - so far, at least
