About this listen

"Knock knock!"

"Um...who's there?"

Yeah. That was me, on my last date. Before you feel sorry for me you should know that I was the one telling the jokes. Jokes as in plural, because I didn't stop with just one. Of course not.

Hi, I'm Chloe Scott. The most awkward single girl in the city.

But I'm going to get it together. I am. I'm going to learn how to date like a grown up. I'm going to have an orgasm not given to myself. I'm going to fall in love and live happily ever after. Right after I get out of this interrogation room.

A different take on a love story

Chloe is a school teacher who suffers from social anxiety. She tends to drift off or tell "knock knock" jokes. Enter Boyd, FBI agent, a few years older, quite wealthy, who seems to fall in love with Chloe very quickly. Much of the story is spent in understanding how Boyd understands Chloe's anxiety issues, and how he is willing to work around them to build a relationship with her. For some reason, I preferred the other books in the series, and I think the reason is that Boyd fell in love very quickly and we didn't really learn the reasons why. But this is a good author, and you should certainly explore her work. #Audible1
