Story
In The Madness of Crowds Douglas Murray investigates the dangers of ‘woke’ culture and the rise of identity politics. In lively, razor-sharp prose he examines the most controversial issues of our moment: sexuality, gender, technology and race, with interludes on the Marxist foundations of ‘wokeness’, the impact of tech and how, in an increasingly online culture, we must relearn the ability to forgive.

Story
In The War on the West, Douglas Murray shows how many well-meaning people have been fooled by hypocritical and inconsistent anti-West rhetoric. After all, if we must discard the ideas of Kant, Hume, and Mill for their opinions on race, shouldn’t we discard Marx, whose work is peppered with racial slurs and anti-Semitism? Embers of racism remain to be stamped out in America, but what about the raging racist inferno in the Middle East and Asia?

Story
The quest for social justice is a powerful crusade of our time, with an appeal to many different people, for many different reasons. But those who use the same words do not always present the same meanings. Clarifying those meanings is the first step toward finding out what we agree on and disagree on. From there, it is largely a question of what the facts are. Social Justice Fallacies reveals how many things that are thought to be true simply cannot stand up to documented facts, which are often the opposite of what is widely believed.

Publisher's Summary
For tens of millions of Americans, Tucker Carlson was long the only voice on cable news providing a counternarrative to establishment Washington and the mainstream press on the most important issues of our time: the Covid-19 vaccine, January 6, the Ukraine war, and even UFOs, just to name a few.
His ratings—the highest in cable news history—spoke for themselves. But if there remained any doubt as to the esteem in which Carlson is held, not just by conservatives, but by all who feel alienated by our imperious and self-serving ruling class, it was evident in the outpouring of grief and anger that came with his abrupt firing from Fox News.
Who is Tucker Carlson off camera? How did his upbringing contribute to who he is today? What motivates the man who has been (and will surely reemerge) as the most influential and, in the establishment’s eyes, the most dangerous voice in American politics and culture?
Author Chadwick Moore was granted unprecedented access to Carlson’s professional and personal life. Based on hundreds of hours of interviews with Carlson, his family, colleagues, acquaintances, and enemies, Tucker offers an inside look into one of the most beloved—and polarizing—media figures of our time.

Love Tucker.
*And I was one of those lefties nodding to Jon Stewart on Crossfire ages ago. (Under the influence of Family members, the ignorance of Youth, and living in a Big City….) What a great listen. I can’t get enough of this guy, and Chadwick’s take and narration is just perfect. Tucker is a Treasure, and having a peek into his history and behind the scenes just inspires more respect and admiration for his non conformist, curious and passionate nature - and the great work he’s doing with his gifts. Well Done. Big love from Canada. 🇨🇦

Oh, the stories
I envy the author for his opportunity of getting to know Tucker so well. Hopefully he keeps poking and exposing the evil or just plain ridiculous. He is a treasure.

Very enjoyable and insightful read
With Fox and others trying to tarnish Carlson’s reputation, this is a must-read to develop (or validate) a more realistic view of the situation.
