Publisher's Summary
The Bookworm Box is proud to present Two More Days, our second anthology installment. Much like the first installment, Two More Days is an exciting and unique listening experience with contributions from several of our charity's featured authors. Each author was given the same first sentence. Where they took that sentence was completely up to them.
Every story is different. No story is related.
The only thing these stories have in common is their starting point. Each author showcased in this anthology was featured in The Bookworm Box in 2020.
Contributing authors: Alessandra Torre, Chanda Hahn, Charleigh Rose, Dominique Laura, Eric R. Asher, Ilsa Madden-Mills, Jennifer Wilson, Jessica Hawkins, Jewel E. Ann, K. Bit uneven, but good mix of stories.
Interesting premise to start every story the same. I would’ve liked to see more creativity with the opening line. One narrator seems very green (flat, robotic) and was my least favourite as a result (Lyndsey Iellimo). Some stories are very strong. Some are very predictable.
All this to say I don’t write or narrate (therefore have no experience or expertise) so take my review for what it’s worth.

Loved it!
Loved all the short stories, some similar, some very different. Narrators are also all good.

Couldn’t even finish it
Very disappointing. I’m not at all taken in by the stories, probably more suited for a young adult. Irritated by the unnecessary use of so many “f” bombs. They add nothing to the story and aren’t even used for emphases, just the vocabulary. I believe I finished one story in its entirety before I realized I wasn’t even paying attention. There is nothing riveting here. After that I tried several more for a few min each deciding there was nothing here for me. Did not even finish. I do not recommend.

Didn’t know it was short stories
I was into the third story by the time I realized it’s just a bunch of short stories that don’t finish and don’t tie together. They just end and you’re expecting more. Didn’t even finish it
