About this listen

From Colleen Hoover, the #1 New York Times bestselling author of It Ends With Us, a heart-wrenching love story that proves attraction at first sight can be messy.

When Tate Collins meets airline pilot Miles Archer, she doesn't think it's love at first sight. They wouldn’t even go so far as to consider themselves friends. The only thing Tate and Miles have in common is an undeniable mutual attraction. Once their desires are out in the open, they realize they have the perfect set-up. He doesn’t want love, she doesn’t have time for love, so that just leaves the sex. Their arrangement could be surprisingly seamless, as long as Tate can stick to the only two rules Miles has for her.

Never ask about the past.
Don’t expect a future.

They think they can handle it, but realize almost immediately they can’t handle it at all.

Hearts get infiltrated.
Promises get broken.
Rules get shattered.
Love gets ugly.

Narration made me feel sick to my stomach

I knew I was getting myself into a simple, predictable, hyper sexual, numb your brain kind of novel that I’m used to from Colleen Hoover and that’s what I was in the mood for. However nothing could have prepared me for the level of discomfort I felt during the male narration. This narrator has the right voice for narrating children’s books so it just doesn’t fit the story. You’re better off reading this story that listening to the audiobook.

Loveeeeeeed it so much

Oh god, my heart. This story is wonderful, beautifully told, beautifully written. Relatable characters. I cried, I laughed, I breathed a sigh of relief. Addicting, I didn’t want to stop listening.

Miles’ Voice

I could hardly get through this book because of the male voice. It was so creepy and almost like he had a lisp. Every time he said Ray-CHEL I cringed. Otherwise really liked this book.

Disappointing.

Love this author but this book was not one of her best. it was way too gushy with lots of sex. Completely predictable. I was very disappointed.

Definitely a romance. Quite raunchy

Definitely a romance novel but quite raunchy along the way if that’s what you’re into. Didn’t love the male voice but enjoyed the female voice which was the majority.

If you can get past the male voice character...

i actually stopped listening at one point because of Miles' voice. It was SUPER annoying. The way he said Rachel's name...kind of made him feel like a creepy stalker and not someone in love. And you didnt get the feeling like he was a sexy 20 something because of it. i should have just read it instead of listening...would have been a better experience.
