who did not understand this book or struggled to finish it. But I did persevere and completely finished listening to the book, and I am proud of myself for this accomplishment. I wanted to read Ulysses because it is on the ten best books ever written list and because it is by James Joyce. I certainly had trouble rating this book. Deep respect to those of you who can say they TRUTHFULLY understood this book. I will give it another try in the future.
