Really poorly written, had potential

So we left off with one of her 4 guys dying in the last book so she had to go get him from purgatory, then immediately after he woke up in the hospital bed she “rode” him 😆 it kinda seemed rushed and not authentic.

She never talks openly and doesn’t try to work like a pack to figure things out, even though we knew right away the alpha of the biggest north American pack was trying to kill her… she still packed her bag and snuck out of their compound to deliver herself to that alpha. So stupid 🤦‍♀️ but seconds after leaving she is brought back to purgatory having seen one of her pack members was killed and she has to bring him back.

She kept acting subservient when she needs to be an Alpha. The young kid who we knew in the first book was going to be trouble literally apprehended her like it was nothing & sexually assaulted her at the same time. Then she decided not to tell her guys about the S/A (again with with holding information 🤦‍♀️)

Then she just let him leave the pack casting him out when they even said they will probably see him again… so he got to live to attack her again someday 🙄

They finally look for allies & start training, it took her forever to realize the gift her mother gave her, helping other female shifters to get pregnant.

Then she finds out she is pregnant, they are attacked at home and go on the run… oh and the witch is her half sister.

I know this series has potential but it seems juvenile, they are all immature and understand how to work together as a team. I had such a hard time finishing this book it just dragged forever!
