About this listen
The first practical guide to applying the ancient healing art of Hawaiian shamanism to our modern lives.
Uniquely suited for use in today's world, Hawaiian shamanism follows the way of the adventurer, which produces change through love and cooperation - in contrast to the widely known way of the warrior, which emphasizes solitary quests and conquest by power. Now, even if you can't get out into the wilderness or undertake a long apprenticeship with a shaman, you can learn to practice the art of shamanism.

The adventurers handbook for shamanic magic
I wish king himself was the narrator ah well so happy to see this book on audible. it's a life changing read/listen and an invaluably immense few hours of wisdom for anyone at all interested in shamanism. King presents a very unique form of shamanism, the adventurer way that is all about empowering the self, your neighbour's and the planet using techniques that are utterly incredible, magical and inspiring. I honestly think the world would be healed from all of its traumas if more people had access to these huna centered tools and frameworks. Something he doesn't mention is that all of Hawaiian people's prior to colonization never experienced mental illness. this book encapsulates so much of their cultures purity and potency that was nearly destroyed. I highly recomend getting this book in any form you can if this resonates with you.
