Hello, my name is Helen Nachintu, and I am a natural health and wellness coach and mentor. I am the author of this book and The Period Protocol, which can be found on Amazon. After scrambling through tons and tons of research articles, listening to audiobooks, reading various blogs and books, watching documentaries on health, wellness, dieting and detoxing, I was finally able to develop my own protocol that would produce lasting results long after completing a detox. I managed to achieve this by using myself as a guinea pig. My light bulb moment throughout my research was the realization that diets don’t really work in the way that we would like them to, and instead of dieting, we need to approach the whole food and eating thing from a completely different perspective.
As one of my favourite authors Dr. Wayne Dyer once stated: “If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.” So, rather than going on yet another diet, it became very apparent to me that if I wanted to lose weight and keep that weight off long after the diet, then I would have to change the way that I approached my weight loss journey.
