Publisher's Summary

Jeeves, not only a tireless servant to the feckless Bertie Wooster, is the saviour of a good many other individuals as well. The list is long: Bingo Little has cause to be grateful to Jeeves in the affair of the marooned cabinet minister; Sippy Sipperley, when he is persecuted by his former headmaster; Tuppy Glossop, in his foolhardy pursuit of Cora Bellinger the opera singer; not to mention Miss Dalgeish the dog-girl; Bertie's fat Uncle George when he brushes with the lower classes; even the dog McIntosh is returned to the dreaded Aunt Agatha through Jeeves' good offices.

Brilliant Wodehouse. Made better by brilliant narrator.

Mr Wodehouse’s books deliver every time. The narration by Jonathan Cecil only adds to the experience. He does an absolutely fantastic job. Thank you!

Excellent Bertie Wooster and Jeeves

Very few readers can 'do'; Bertie Wooster (the late Edward Duke was the best) but Jonathan Cecil does a great job with Bertie, Jeeves and the cast of characters, in this most entertaining collection of stories, Jonathan Cecil also does others in the Wodehouse series (all recommended) but this is one of the very best. Well worth a listen and a re-listen.

Light & fun

Each chapter tells a complete Bertie & Jeeves adventure. This made it perfect for bedtime listening with the timer set to “end of chapter”.
