About this listen
She's fae. He's human. He should never have followed her into the magic realm...
Violet has one job: protect humans from dangerous magical creatures. It's a job she's good at - until the cute human guy whose life she just saved follows her into the fae world.
Now she's broken faerie law, risking her future at the Guild of Guardians. She needs to get Nate home and make him forget everything he's discovered.
If only someone wasn't intent on hunting him down.
Vi and Nate are pulled into the darker side of the fae world, where deadly magic and long-forgotten secrets exist.
Vi might be one of the best, but can she get them out alive?

GREAT story, Decent female narrator, AWESOME male
the story is amazing, but the narrator for do list is pretty monotone and it took awhile for me to get into the story with her. I always pictured more emotion in Voliet's head even if she tried very hard not to show it too the world when I read it in paperback and ebook. the narrator didn't really do it for me, there's also a nasally quality to her voice that makes it sound as if she had a head cold while recording that can grate on your nerves if ur more sensitive to that kind of thing (I am to a point and often why I don't watch certain people on YouTube). also there's are times the female narrator almost sound like a different person sometimes, ad if she had more energy from one day to the next. However the male narrator was AMAZING! he does the voices well, and there is so much emotion in his voice while reading the lines. I was always do happy to hear him at the end of each book (as this is there books in one). He was always consistent and exactly how I pictured Ryn sounding. Overall it was a food experience even if it took a bit to get into the story. honestly the only thing I would change is that when Ryn or Nate (or any other male character) I wish they would have gotten the male narrator to do the voice acting for those parts instead of just hearing him at the end when the perspective shifts
