Publisher's Summary
From the mind of the man Stephen King calls "a master of the macabre", comes a brilliant new collection of no-punches-pulled horror stories, some never-before-collected and many originals that have never been published anywhere before. Bentley Little can take the innocuous, twist it around, and write a story that will change your way of thinking. Walking Alone: Short Stories is a shining example of his talent to scare you, creep you out, and make you shudder.

Amazing collection
loved the narrators, was a good change of pace from single story and the different voices really brought that out. will be listening again and again.

Unsettling
I liked the different narrators, themes reoccur in few stories which will get unsettling =/

Darkly original stories
Engaging group of creepy tales focused mainly on the dark side of humanity rather than supernatural horror. I feel the supernatural is rather played out with the same old genres & basic plots being repeated over & again, so this refreshing breathe of corpse-scented air is welcome in my nights. I savoured these snippets of evil design for a good week of night listening.

Some lovely twisted stories
Worth a listen, there are some clever horror elements presented in some almost humourous situations.

Wow. I really enjoyed this.
I listened to the whole thing over the course of 2 days and never got bored. Yes I had a lot of free time for listening. I honestly couldn't stop.
It's a very diverse selection of stories but each one was vividly written and interesting enough to pull you right in. Highly recommended.
Addition; I've been through this book a second time now and was surprised how much the stories had stuck with me.
Very vivid. I discovered this author randomly but I've really enjoyed the 4 audiobooks I've heard thus far.

Just kinda meh
The stories are mostly just strange. I wouldn't call them scary. 1 or 2 good ones and the rest are pretty forgettable. One of the male voice actors was very awful, the rest were good. A lot of old stereotypes and outdated points of view being used in these stories that give an air the writer not being in touch with current public attitudes towards sexism, racism, etc, and it kind of felt like everything about these stories is stuck in the past. When modern things are mentioned in the stories, it feels like something the writer doesn't use or doesn't understand fully.
