In this long-awaited sequel to the international best seller The Artist's Way, Julia Cameron presents the next step in her course of discovering and recovering the creative self.

Walking in This World picks up where Julia Cameron's best-selling book on the creative process, The Artist's Way, left off to present readers with a second course, part two in an amazing journey toward discovering our human potential. Full of valuable new strategies and techniques for breaking through difficult creative ground, this is the "intermediate level" of the Artist's Way program.

A profoundly inspired work by the leading authority on the subject of creativity, Walking in This World is an invaluable tool for artists.

Wonderful, insightful, thought and (most importantly) change provoking. Highly recommend for anyone seeking balance, clarity or inspiration in their creative life.

Wisdom for Artists

Herein, initially, same structure/suggestions from "The Artist Way" (1992) seemed to be repackaged, or repeated enough that the content felt old, tired. Reading by Barbara Caruso sounded 'performed' using a forcefully staccato-like tempo, tone. My receptivity was challenged, so I did not complete the book.

In contrast, in her 2005 reading of "The Artist Way" (TAW), the tone of author Julia Cameron's voice strongly carried her wisdom and heart. Note: In fairness, immediately prior to listening "Walking in This World", I had listened to (non-stop), and had just been blown wide open by content of TAW. Honestly, at that point, could any other book truly ever compare? (No!). Perhaps for a "first-time" listener, the content of "Walking in This World" would better strum the necessary chord to become inspired.
