About this listen

The launch of a brand-new arc in Erin Hunter’s #1 bestselling Warriors series find the Clans navigating an ominous prophecy that foreshadows the destruction of the Moonpool, and the end of the Cats' connection to StarClan.

As Leafbare approaches, a new danger threatens the Clans. Twoleg construction has encroached on Clan territory, poisoning the stream and making prey especially scarce for SkyClan. Meanwhile, their leader, Leafstar, is struggling with a loss of vision while trying to maintain authority over a Clan that increasingly doubts her ability to lead.

In ShadowClan, Tawnypelt senses peril as the Twoleg construction threatens the Moonpool, but she can’t get any cat, especially her son, TigerStar, to listen. Frustrated with the younger cats who don't respect her, she decides to take matters into her own paws.

In the midst of the chaos, Moonpaw, an apprentice struggling to understand the mysterious voice in her head, thinks that she might be having visions. But the voice becomes increasingly sinister, and Moonpaw wonders if it's a sign of darkness on the horizon.

Great Story, Bad Audio Recording

Compared to the other audiobooks of the warrior cats series, this recording has a lot more noticeable mistakes in the recording. Mistakes such as: volume balancing issues, reading the wrong words, abruptly cutting mid sentences (likely due to having multiple takes), background microphone vibrations, and poor reading inflection on some sentences.

Overall, the performance of this audiobook was bad enough that it distracted me every now and then while trying to enjoy reading the book while listening. I hope that the voice over artist can take this as feedback to improve her performance, as I do like her expressions and pacing. The overall recording needs to be edited more carefully, so as to be a lot smoother to listen to.

Plz bring back macloud andrews

the story was amazing but it's hard to keep focus without the old narrator the voices she uses are off
I keep hearing pages flipping
I thought I heard cluttering in the background
and the voice acting is just off
I miss my angry sassy and squeaky jayfeather

Great story, awful audiobook

This narrator's performance is a massive downgrade from the last arc. It sounds like the narrator is reading this book for the first time, and is rushing through it rather than delivering a performance. Most characters have no specific voices, while some have inappropriate ones (ex. Alderheart sounding rude and cold, Squirrelstar sounding like a hoarse old woman). There's audible gulping, random mid-sentence pauses, volume balance issues, mispronounced words (ex. "barred" instead of bared), awkward inflections... Just an overall lack of quality control. I hope these issues don't continue for the rest of the arc.
