About this listen
At 29, Claire is full of the joys of life - that is, until her husband leaves her on the day she gives birth to her baby. With a broken heart, a beautiful newly born and an expanding mirror image, she decides to visit her eccentric family in Dublin. There she starts to feel better. So much better, in fact, that James is in for a surprise when he decides to slither back into her life.

Marian Keyes' writing style is both witty and poignant, making it easy to connect with the characters and their emotions. Gerri Hannigan's narration adds an extra layer of depth to the story, bringing each character to life with her expressive delivery and engaging storytelling.
One of the standout aspects of "Watermelon" is the excellent narration by Gerri Hannigan. Her skillful portrayal of the characters and the emotions they experience enhances the overall listening experience, making it even more enjoyable and immersive.
Overall, "Watermelon" is a refreshing and captivating read that will keep you hooked from beginning to end, especially when accompanied by Gerri Hannigan's wonderful narration. Decent beach Novel
Easy to listen too. Light on plot and maybe not as good as some others of hers. Some good funny bits tho

Love this author, but…
I absolutely love Marian Keyes. However, this one is not my favourites. It is still well worth purchasing and listening to, but it’s not one of her stronger ones.

I love Marian Keyes books but found the story line lacking. I listened to the end but was glad it was finished.
