About this listen

'We all have to do our part if we’re to survive the coming storm.'

Alexandra Jennings might be the hero of The Medoran Chronicles, but she would be lost without her three closest friends. They are her heroes, and like all heroes, they each have their own story.

Meet the real D.C. in 'Crowns and Curses' and discover how she becomes the princess Alex once despised but now adores.

Follow Jordan on his healing journey in 'Scars and Silence' as he struggles in the wake of being rescued from his living nightmare.

Walk beside Bear in 'Hearts and Headstones' as he faces an unspeakable trauma while helping his world prepare for the coming war.

D.C., Jordan and Bear are the heroes of their own stories.

It is time for their stories to be told.

Scars never heal, but they fade

Felt it started out a little slow for me:however the trauma that was to come. oh my. This definitely needs to be credited as both Austin Rising and Michael Crouch narrated this so well that I felt the emotions as if they were my own and felt tears well in my eyes. well done gentlemen

wow!

officially the best book of the whole series!! ( hardly any Alex) and you just gotta love how she has all this supernatural abilities and a shadow wolf... but couldn't use her speed or her wolf to help William? her uselessness strikes again. how Bear could even stand her anymore is beyond me.. but that's what you get when a series is based around a dumb as nails character. it's bad when the side story novel is the best of the series.

it was great until it wasn't...

loved the back story and fill in the blanks. But the third narrator was horrible. If the story wasn't there to fill in some blanks I wouldn't have listened, itvwas horrible. The voices done by the third narrator were just not in line with the characters (every female sounded like they were whiny California Valley girls, and the male characters sounded like they were 80 and from the south instead of teenagers). While the back story of the characters and the bits to fill empty spots was fantastic, I could not handle the last narrator.

You have to listen to this novella!!

This book brought all the other books together, if you miss out on this one. You'll be missing vital information that was missed on other books in the series.

So Good!!!

This is such a well thought out and captivating epic tale. so very glad it was brought to my attention. Next step, movies? don't compromise. It is perfect as it is. I am still having an issue with Avins motives. Why does he hate humans so very much. I get how he is pissed at Alex. But he went down right insane. something motivated him prior to him discovering she was human. Aside from the market issue. hope the last book gives an answer.
