About this listen
From the celebrated poet, speaker, and educator comes Welcome Home, a powerful blueprint for building a strong foundation of self-worth, belonging, and happiness.
“A master class in self-actualization and compassion.” (Mari Andrew, New York Times best-selling author of Am I There Yet?)
The powerful metaphor of home provides a structure for you to customize your journey to personal transformation as Najwa Zebian shares her own experiences in building a home within herself and shows you how to construct the following “rooms”:
- Self-Love: Learn how to build an individualized self-care routine to reflect your daily needs.
- Forgiveness: Learn how to allow yourself time, reflection, and space to accept and let go of painful events.
- Compassion: Discover the three different types of compassion and learn how you can let people in while maintaining boundaries.
- Clarity: Learn how to remove the walls you put up around your authentic self.
- Surrender: Learn how to lower your defenses and give yourself space to feel and process your emotions.
- The Dream Garden: Learn how to nurture your dreams and create an authentic, original path.
With practical tools, poetry, and prompts for journaling and meditation to lead to self-understanding in each chapter, Zebian shows you how to build each room in your house. Written with her trademark power, candor, and warmth, Welcome Home is an answer to the pain we all experience when we don't feel at peace with ourselves.

Story
A guy who rejects or breaks up with you should no longer exist in your life. Contacting him or allowing him to stay in touch with you will make you work harder and harder to convince him that you’re worth his love and attention, and it will compel you to play that ugly and unwinnable game called Chase-a-Man. The best way to avoid this ugly game and break his spell over you is to cut the guy off (cease all communications and interactions) for a set period of time, or in some cases, keep him cut off out of your life indefinitely.

Astonishingly Relatable !!!
I need to listen to this book a few more times. I think I can finally comprehend why I feel what I feel because Najwa has so graciously put into words how It should feel to live in my own home. The water doesn’t feel as mucky when I’m listening to this audiobook. Not a single book to this day was really about me and my life experience so in that regard this one’s a true gem.
Thank you Najwa! You surely were sent to me from up above. How I got here is not because of who I actually am. You have miraculously facilitated for me to somehow walk wholeheartedly into my own sacred home.
I hope this book reaches the masses of women who like myself know in their gut that there is a better and a more authentic life that matches their inner spirit of who they truly are but feel stuck and soaked in guilt especially when surrounded in the company of ‘other peoples’ archaic cultural beliefs. In essence, still living in THEIR homes.
As a fellow Canadian immigrant I hope to meet Najwa one day so I can tell her face to face what an impact this book has had on me. Bravo!! 👏🏽😊💕

Likely One of The Best Books I’ll Ever Read
For a long time I’ve been hearing and reading advice telling me that self-love is the missing key to healing but no one would ever explains exactly what self love is. When you don’t even know what it looks like, where exactly am I supposed to know where to start??
Start here.
Najwa explains the exact steps you need to take to build a loving home for yourself and take part in daily self love. It’s no longer this mysterious concept to me. I now understand very clearly where I’ve gone wrong and understand how to maintain a better home for myself.
Thank you x100, Najwa!

A journey for self love in a book
I lisened to this book with joy. It made me cry and reflect about my own journey so strongly. In each chapter, I found so meaniful advice. I loved lisening Najwa speaking. This book was a great company for my last week and it was a healing tool for me. Thank you for your wise words Najwa. Pain can be a source of great strength and I totally agree that being sensitive is a wisdom that no everybody knows how to handle it. Loved the book and will recomend anybody to buy it.

life changing
From the very beginning this resonated with me and hit a spot . A spot that would leave me in tears chapter after chapter. I found this book so powerful and liberating. I found this author on tiktok. She read me one paragraph and I was hooked. Just do it. I'd recommend the book itself though, I wish I had pages to look back and self reflect on. Thank you Najwa, you moved me in ways I never thought a book could.
