It's cheesy - but has some good parenting points

As a parent trying to make my life easier by instilling good values, rewarding good behaviour and ignoring bad behaviour this book came as not really any surprise. However, the story is soooooooooooooooo cheesy. The reader isn't exactly enticing...in fact its cringey to listen to. The content is good though.
