Publisher's Summary
Now that Dimple Shah has graduated, she's ready for a break from her family - especially from Mamma's inexplicable obsession with her finding the Ideal Indian Husband. Ugh. But Dimple knows that her mother must respect that she isn't interested in doing that right now - otherwise she wouldn't have paid for her to attend a summer program for aspiring web developers, right?
Rishi Patel is a hopeless romantic, so when his parents tell him that his future wife will be attending the same summer program as him - during which he'll have to woo her - he's totally onboard. Because as silly as it sounds to most people in his life, Rishi believes in the power of tradition, stability, and being a part of something much bigger than himself. Although their parents hadn't planned suggesting the arrangement so soon, when their kids signed up for the same summer program, they figured why not?

Cute!
Super cute YA novel and the Indian accents were spot on! Having loved in India several years and married to an Indian I liked reading about a young girl who wanted to fight the norms in her culture! Super cute and narration was awesome!

Light and fun
Reading this book felt like being wrapped up cozy on the couch with your favorite romcom on TV. No surprises, but a satisfying story with familiar characters. A great book to read when you need a break from heavier reading.

Charming
It's about 60% charm and 40% trope, a little bit contrived, and surprising in literally 0 ways, but reading it wasn't a punishment or anything and it's light and fun. The author hit a lot of cultural notes and alluded to some gnarly real-world stuff, but the book never actually explores any of the more mature themes. I'm kind of glad, it would have dragged down the overall story, but sometimes just hinting at a theme and not exploring it is worse than anything.
