About this listen
This standalone is best enjoyed when you don't read any reviews or spoilers. Going in blind is best. Trust me.
When my eyes are closed, the monster can't see me.
When I sing a song in my head, the monster can't hear me.
When I pretend my bedroom is a playground where I play hide-and-seek, the monster can't find me.
The darkness should frighten me.
I should worry I'll find more monsters...monsters scarier than him.
But I'm not afraid.
It's safe here.
When I'm inside of my head....
He. Can't. Ever. Touch. Me.
Warning: Whispers and the Roars is a dark romance. Strong sexual themes and violence, which could trigger emotional distress, are found in this story. The abuse written in this story is graphic and not glossed over, which could be upsetting to some. This story is not for everyone. Proceed with caution.

Wow, great book
Great narration. I love the use of both female and male narrators. The story was captivating and new. Great job 10/10 would recommend.

you'll feel like giving up on this book but don't
I struggled to get through the first three quarters of the book and almost gave up twice but it is worth it there is quite a Twist and it gets good towards the end so don't give up

Not my thing
I couldn’t stomach finishing this book, even tho a huge twist was promised. I’m just not interested in reading about abuse and misogyny and predictable gender roles of a male saviour. Hard pass.
