About this listen

A remorseless ranger. A sentient hell hound pelt with a penchant for pyromania. An irksome pixie who sells intrigue and information.

Three companions who find themselves trapped in a city filled with warring priestly factions, devious machinations, and an angry fiend. To save the city, they must find three weapons of power, which lie in the most trap-laden, monster-infested place this side of Acererak's tomb: White Plume Mountain.

Back to (D&D) Basics

This is the first Dungeons and Dragons novel I've had the chance to "read". The story is a revamped classic dungeon crawl from back in the early days of Greyhawk. The main cast of characters are truly fun. They will feel just like players around the table, rolling and roleplaying their hearts out. Bernard Setaro Clark played every character quite well. Hearing Polk chime in gave me a laugh, many times. A fun read and I'd highly recommend the full series!

Not what I was expecting and it blew me away!!

When I first tried the preview I wasn't to thrilled about the narrator, his voice kinda put me off. But as more characters were introduced the narrators skill really came out and he made the story explode into life! The dynamic between the main characters is so freaking good and the narrator hit it out of the park. I really loved this book and will defiently be listening to it again.
