This book was cute and heartwarming of course if but a little slow to start. The pace picked up nicely about half way through.

TJ Klune has such a gift for creating characters that I want to be friends with. Once again, a novel that wholeheartedly hugs you for exactly who you are. I find myself learning about gender diversity and terminology by getting to know folks who live their truth and support others to do the same.
Sean Crisden’s narration was unbelievably fun! I laughed out loud at his delivery to the point of having to pause the audio and go back.
It’s a great stand-alone story… but I am so enchanted with the characters that I will have to listen to the first three books… NOW.
