Publisher's Summary

So...as it turns out, I really am Lucifer's daughter. Hell's heir. And - you guessed it - the next queen of the damned. But what if I don't want to rule?

With the imp in hiding and Josh gone from this world, I still wasn't safe. Not by a long shot. Dear ol' Dad didn't just pass on his legacy and mark. He also passed on all of Hell's problems, and that means his enemies are now mine.

Fortunately for me, I have the Four Horsemen, my banshee best friend, and a pissed-off raccoon on my side. But now I have the beast with which to contend. My psychotic, possessive, and downright scary alter ego was dead set on having the Horsemen, not only at my back, but in my bed. As if learning to control the flames of Hell wasn't a hard enough job by itself.

Would it have been too hard for Lucifer to write a handbook before he died?

Contains mature themes.

Spoilers in all the other reviews

It's unfortunate that one of the other reviews was not really describing what they did and didn't like about the book (other than the title) but rather explained in no uncertain terms what happened in the book to the end. ... I, on the other hand, love the way things are going in the book. Considering how short the first book was, I was not surprised that "not much happened" in the first half of the story. I've read stories like this before, and it follows a similar breakdown among the various books in the series.

good listen!

I listened to all four books and it's good. Taking Lucifer and world creation as subject and managing to make it entertaining and new is a great suprise.

Story line great, strong female characters

Narrator is good. Story line is great and love that there are multiple strong females. Unfortunately, I am not into multiple mates. It rubs me the wrong way, just a personal choice. I do wish it hinted to this in the description as I would have not bothered.

It’s okay not much has happened

The first two books of the series are done and I’m surprised for a reverse harem series there’s almost no spice. 😓

This book she marked one of her horsemen & her ex boyfriend who nearly raped her at a bar’s girl friend is convinced Ruby knows where the miss boyfriend is. The rude girl has reporters and others all stake out Rubys tattoo shop and Ruby decides to get revenge.

Her best friend is kidnapped and Ruby has to save her. That’s the extent of the story she’s ready to go to hell.
